Come read with Maggie, an adorable and friendly reading asstance dog, on Wednesday afternoons! She will be in the children's room 3-4pm every Wednesday for the rest of the summer. It's a great way for shy readers to become more comfortable with books! We've already had great success in the two visits she's had so far, and would love more children to participate.
Please note: Summer hours were 2-3 but with the start of school, Maggie will now becoming in at 3 until 4pm on Wednesdays!
Join us on Friday afternoon to celebrate the completion of another summer reading program! We'll have snacks and a movie showing. Children of all ages are invited, whether they completed their reading lists or not. 2pm in the auditorium.
Summer is in full swing, but we've still got lots of programming left for July and August! Join us in the nice cool auditorium every Monday afternoon at 3:30 to watch a movie for all ages. This week's movie: the always classic Star Wars!
Hope to see you there!
Join us on Wednesday, June 25th to kick off another season of summer reading. Children ages 5-14 are invited to join us for crafts and other activities at 2pm to get you excited for this year's science theme! Talk to Miss Diana in the children's room to sign up and get more information.
In addition, adults are welcome to join us at 5pm to kick off our inaugural year of adult summer reading programs. This year's theme is "Read the Book, See the Movie". Stop by to discuss George Orwell's 1984! Ask Jessica upstairs for more information.
