Book Signing!

This Monday, March 9, we are hosting a book signing.  Dr. William R. Holland will be here at the library to sign his new book Hope Realized: The College Journey of Four Central Falls High School Graduates. The signing will take place from 3:00-4:30pm and 5:30-7:00pm in the auditorium. Copies of the book will be available at a discounted rate.  We hope to see you there!


Book Sale!!!!

The library will be holding its 3rd annual book sale this week in the auditorium! Work on your holiday shopping while supporting the library! We have over 3000 books at extremely low prices. 

Thursday, December 18 4pm-6pm:  this is a presale. The entrance fee is $10, which allows you access to the largest selection of books available. Hardcovers are $1.00, Paperbacks are $.50, Children's books are $.25, and other items are priced as marked.  

Friday, December 19 11am-6pm: the first day of the sale proper.  There is no entrance fee and books will be priced as for Thursday.

Saturday, December 20 10am-3pm: the library will be open for book sale purposes only.  Books will be $1.00 a bag.

Holiday Concert Fundraiser

On December 13 at 7:00pm, the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island will once again be hosting a holiday concert performed by the Wakefield Concert Band for the benefit of the library.  Tickets are $5.00 and available at the library.  If you would like more information, or would like to inquire about tickets, please call the library at 401-727-7440.  We hope you can attend!


International Game Day is back!

Join us this Saturday, November 15th for this popular event! Adams Memorial Library is well stocked with a variety of board games, so there's something for everyone, no matter your age. There will also be a chess tournament in the morning, and a Super Smash Bros. tournament in the afternoon. Come in for an entire day of fun!
