Did you miss the Create a Comic Book Character Workshop?

We'd like to thank everyone who made the workshop on Thursday such a success!  A good time was had by all and the designs you came up with were so creative!  If you weren't able to make it, or if you want to continue learning about drawing comics, we've set up a display of books in the Teen Room about how comics are created, how to draw various people and creatures, and some graphic novels to give you inspiration.  So come on in, meet your new Teen Librarian Diana (who's usually in the children's room, but is your librarian too and would be delighted to meet you), and learn more about drawing and comics!

Create a Comic Book Character!

At 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, Eric Fulford will be here at the library to work with teens on creating their very own comic book character.  Learn how to design and illustrate a comic book character from the ground up! Eric Fulford will guide you through the process and provide tips and techniques as you create your character, as well as your character's unique back-story!  This program is part of our summer reading program, which youths of all ages are welcome to join!
