Summer Reading Closing Ceremony

Join us on Friday afternoon to celebrate the completion of another summer reading program! We'll have snacks and a movie showing. Children of all ages are invited, whether they completed their reading lists or not. 2pm in the auditorium.


Summer Reading!

Join us on Wednesday, June 25th to kick off another season of summer reading. Children ages 5-14 are invited to join us for crafts and other activities at 2pm to get you excited for this year's science theme! Talk to Miss Diana in the children's room to sign up and get more information.


In addition, adults are welcome to join us at 5pm to kick off our inaugural year of adult summer reading programs. This year's theme is "Read the Book, See the Movie". Stop by to discuss George Orwell's 1984! Ask Jessica upstairs for more information.


New: Gaming Group!

Recently added to our adult programming is a group for board game enthusiasts. Come by the first and third Thursday of the month, 5:30-9:30pm, and get your game on. We have a large selection of games to choose from, or you can bring your own to add to the mix!

Peace Book Workshop

Come to a picture book making workshop with illustrator Cathren Housley. Ms. Housley previously came to our library in May for a very successful event, and is excited to return to Central Falls. Creations will be featured in an upcoming exhibit at Studio Z. With parents' permission, children will have an opportunity to be recorded talking about their books.


When: December 3rd, 3:30-5
Age Group: Grades 3 and up
