We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Chinese Christian Church of RI, as well as the for the skills of the Wakefield Concert Band, for the fundraiser on Saturday night.  Because of their generosity, and the generosity of the sponsors of the concert, the fundraiser resulted in $12,000 for the library!  We would also like to thank Alec Baldwin for a second generous donation to the library. 


Holiday Concert to Benefit Adams Memorial Library

CCCRI will be hosting the Wakefield Concert Band on December 15 as a fundraiser for the Adams Memorial Library.  This promises to be a wonderful evening of great holiday music.  Tickets are only $5 and are on sale now at the library.  Come in to the library soon to get your tickets before they sell out!

The library is also looking for Corporate sponsors for the event.  If you would like to sponsor the fundraiser, please contact the director at

Library Book Sale!!!

The Adams Memorial Library will be having a holiday book sale on Saturday, December 15th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.  There will be a special preview sale on Friday, December 14th from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. for friends of the library.  Friend's yearly dues are $10 and may be purchased on the day of the preview.

Books will be priced from 50 cents to $1.

The library would like to especially thank the Lincoln School who had a book drive especially to benefit the Adams Memorial Library.

Please stop by the library and do some last minute Christmas shopping!


International Games Day @ Your Library!

This Saturday, the library will be participating in International Games Day @ Your Library!  In addition to a chess tournament starting at 9 am, we will also be hosting board games for both adults and children during our normal hours 10am-3pm, in addition to a Super Smash Bros. Tournament against other libraries across the country from 1pm-4pm.  All are welcome!


Happy Halloween!

Halloween is coming!  On Wednesday, October 31st, we will be having a movie afternoon!  Starting at 3:00 pm.  We will be showing the movie Wallace and Gromit:  the Curse of the Were-Rabbit and any children who attend will receive a treat!
